Tararua District
The Tararua District stretches from the rugged Ruahine Ranges to the rolling farmland and rural communities that connect Woodville, Dannevirke, Pahiatua, Eketāhuna and our many smaller settlements.
Tararua faces various hazards due to its geography, including earthquakes, flooding, storms, and drought, as well as landslides in hill country. Being prepared helps keep our whānau, neighbours and communities safe.
